The 900 has been recalled 20 times. The 1994 model year has been involved in the most campaigns.

Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Saab itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.
